ITINERARY:

DAY 1: DEPART THE USA

  • Fly overnight from the USA to Málaga.

DAY 2: MÁLAGA

  • Bienvenidos a Málaga, the second largest city in Andalusia. It is rich in cultural heritage, famous artistic architecture and a vibrant international atmosphere.
  • A Forum Tour Manager will meet you at the airport and help you transfer to a local high school in Málaga. You will be staying with families of students that attend the school.
  • Meet your host families and get settled in. While living with a host family, you will discover that Spanish is more than just a textbook language. It becomes a living and working language, spoken and written on a daily basis. You will eat Spanish food (at the standard Spanish meal times), meet Spanish people and have an excellent opportunity to practice your Spanish in real-life situations.
  • Enjoy your first evening with your host family.

DAY 3: SPANISH CLASSES & SOCCER

  • Breakfast with your family before going to school.
  • Attend Spanish classes for approximately 3 hours a day. All educational materials required during your stay will be provided to you.
  • You will have classes of Spanish language as well as regular classes in Spanish with local students.
  • Lunch at the school cafeteria.
  • After morning classes, head to a local soccer camp for a two-hour practice session.
  • Return to your family for dinner and night accommodation.

DAY 4: SPANISH CLASSES & SOCCER

  • Breakfast with your family before going to school for your morning classes.
  • Lunch at the school cafeteria.
  • Attend 2 hours of soccer practice.
  • Return to your family for dinner and night accommodation.

DAY 5: SPANISH CLASSES & SOCCER

  • Breakfast with your family before going to school for your morning classes.
  • Lunch at the school cafeteria.
  • Attend a 2 hours of soccer practice.
  • Your Forum Tour Manager will take you for a guided tour of historic center of Málaga.
  • Return to your family for dinner and night accommodation.

DAY 6: SPANISH CLASSES & SOCCER

  • Breakfast with your family before going to school for your morning classes.
  • Lunch at the school cafeteria.
  • Attend 2 hours of soccer practice.
  • Go with your Forum Tour Manager and Discover the Pedregalejo area of Málaga, a former fishing village. Enter the last artisanal shipyard of Málaga.
  • Return to your family for dinner and night accommodation.

DAY 7: SPANISH CLASSES & SOCCER

  • Breakfast with your family before going to school for your morning classes.
  • Lunch at the school cafeteria.
  • Attend 3 hours of soccer practice.
  • Your Forum Tour Manager will take you for a visit to the Alcazaba, a Moorish fortification built by the Arab Hammudid dynasty in 11th century.
  • Enjoy a paella “en la playa” as a farewell dinner.
  • Return to your family for night accommodation.

DAY 8: DEPART

  • After breakfast say a fond “adios” to your Spanish host family.
  • Board your private bus and transfer to the Málaga Pablo Picasso
    airport for your flight back home.
