ITINERARY:

 DAY 1: DEPART USA / MÁLAGA 
  • Fly through the night from the USA to Málaga.
 DAY 2: MÁLAGA 
  • Bienvenidos a Málaga, the second largest city in Andalucía. Rich in cultural heritage, famous artistic architecture and a vibrant international atmosphere.
  • A Forum representative will meet you at the airport and help you transfer to a local High School which offers you spanish lessons and insures a home accommodation with local families.
  • Meet your host families and get settled in. While living with a host family, you will discover that Spanish is more than just a textbook language. It becomes a living and working language, spoken and written on a daily basis. You will eat Spanish food (at the standard Spanish meal times), meet Spanish people and have an excellent opportunity to practice your Spanish in real-life situations.
  • Enjoy your first evening with your host family.
 DAY 3: SPANISH CLASSES & FLAMENCO WORKSHOP 

  • Breakfast with your family before going to school.
  • Partake in Spanish classes for approximately 3 hours a day. All educational materials required during your stay will be provided to you.
  • You will attend classes of Spanish and in Spanish with local students.
  • Lunch at the school cafeteria.
  • After your classes, head to the Flamenco Dance Academy in Málaga and take part in a 2 and a half hour session of Flamenco.
  • A Dance Academy run by Antonio de Verónica and Saray Cortés, one of Malaga´s best flamenco dancers. The artistic career of Antonio de Veronica started at the early age of seven. Later, he formed his own Flamenco Company with his wife, Saray Cortés. They have successfully toured the theaters of Madrid, Barcelona and Bilbao; as well as Germany, England, Argentina and The Festival of Kawasi in Japan. They now own the Flamenco Dance Academy in Málaga, where they teach the art of flamenco to children and young people
    through body language. The Flamenco was declared World Treasure Heritage by UNESCO in 2010.
  • It is an excellent way to learn Spanish while getting familiar with our most beautiful culture.
  • Return to your family for dinner and night accommodation.
 DAY 4: SPANISH CLASSES & FLAMENCO WORKSHOP 
  • Breakfast with your family before going to school for your morning classes.
  • Lunch at the school cafeteria.
  • Participate in an afternoon of sport activities with students from the school.
  • Attend your Flamenco workshop for a 2 and a half hour session.
  • Return to your family for dinner and night accommodation.
 DAY 5: SPANISH CLASSES & FLAMENCO WORKSHOP 
  • Breakfast with your family before going to school for your morning classes.
  • Lunch at the school cafeteria.
  • Attend your Flamenco workshop for a 2 and a half hour session.
  • Your Forum Tour Manager will take you for a guided tour of historic Málaga.
  • Return to your family for dinner and night accommodation.
 DAY 6: SPANISH CLASSES & FLAMENCO WORKSHOP  
  • Breakfast with your family before going to school for your morning classes.
  • Lunch at the school cafeteria.
  • Attend your Flamenco workshop for a 2 and a half hour session.
  • Discover the Pedregalejo area with our Forum Tour Manager, a former fishing village. Enter the last artisanal shipyard of Málaga.
  • Return to your family for dinner and night accommodation.
 DAY 7: SPANISH CLASSES & FLAMENCO WORKSHOP 
  • Breakfast with your family before going to school for your morning classes.
  • Lunch at the school cafeteria.
  • Attend your Flamenco workshop for a 2 and half hour session.
  • Your Forum Tour Manager will take you for a visit to the Alcazaba, built by the Arab Hammudid dynasty in 11th Century.
  • Enjoy a paella “en la playa” as a farewell dinner.
  • Return to your family for night accommodation.
 DAY 8: DEPART 
  • After breakfast say a fond “adios” to your Spanish host family.
  • Board your private bus and transfer to the Málaga Pablo Picasso airport for your flight back home.
